Systemic Design for Territorial Development

Learning and discussing Systemic Design through international experiences

Description

The course aims to illustrate the Systemic Design approach as a methodology for a territorial development grounded on more sustainable and circular models. The main topic highlighted is the transition from a linear production model (take-make-dispose) to a circular and systemic one which is deeply rooted in the local context.

This topic will be investigated through the exploration of key issues related to Systemic Design, and through a critical dialogue with some of the leading experts in the field (ETH Zurich, OCAD University, AHO Oslo, TU Deltf, Georgetown University). The Systemic Design allows the design of new strategies, new business models, services and even policies able to promote sustainable development in a territory.
